I truly enjoy discovering new things that I didn't know before. Then I doubly enjoy sharing those things with people who would otherwise not know these things. Once I discover something new, the next step is to share it. Therefore, I am sharing my most recent finds.

TOOTHPASTE CAN KILL YOU
Yes, it has been proven that swallowing a large amount of tooth paste can kill you. I did not know this until I saw an episode on CSI where the murder weapon was toothpaste. Can you believe it...toothpaste?

There is not enough fluoride in toothpaste to kill you by brushing your teeth; however, if you swallow a large amount of toothpaste, it will kill you.

PURPLE CARROTS

Carrots have come in several different colors - black, white, orange and purple. However, purple carrots are better for us than orange carrots because they contain 40% more beta-carotene and more anthocyanin (antioxidants known to prevent cancer). What gives them their unusual color is the higher amount of anthocyamin. It's the same coloring in grapes, blackberries and blueberries.

WHITEN TEETH WITH STRAWBERRIES
Save lots of money on products to whiten your teeth by whitening your teeth with strawberries. Strawberries help whiten teeth because they contain the same enzyme found in some whitening toothpastes known as malic acid, You can just rub strawberries on your teeth and leave the juice on for about a minute and then rinse with water.The fiber in strawberries behaves as a natural cleaner by removing bacteria from the teeth and mouth.

SNIFF LAVENDER TO RELAX
If you sniff lavender during stressful times, you will be amazed at how quickly you will begin to relax. Keep a pouch of lavender with you at all times. Before you are about to make a speech or be interviewed for your dream job, sniff on the pouch of lavender to keep you cool and calm. People will wonder how you can remain so calm during such important activities. So if you want to stay calm and be in a good mood, SNIFF LAVENDER! Trust me, it works!

BATH SECRET: USE POWDERED MILK
Pour a cup or more of powdered milk under running bath water. The lactic acid in the milk will remove dry dead skin and leave you baby soft. Powered milk is quite reasonably priced compared to those expensive bath oils and soaks. Just add a drop or two of some scented oil if you want a scented bath!
